Mission

(from the FAGC bylaws) “The purpose of the Faculty Assembly Grievance Committee shall be to provide information on the UCCS grievance policies, procedures and processes, and to be the second point of contact for any grievant after they pursued their grievance within their unit and in their college; to ensure the grievant exhausted grievance channels at the college level or other offices on campus (i.e. Office of Institutional Equity, Human Resources), and if appropriate, examine the grievance, forward results of the examination to the President of Faculty Assembly, provide a timely report to the grievant, and report on the progress or resolution of the grievance in the committee’s meetings.”

“If you intend to file a grievance with the FAGC, please go to the Grievance Information tab, read the information on requested documentation, and submit your documentation by selecting “File a grievance”. If either FAGC co-chair is involved in the actions leading to a grievance, you can check the box to prevent them from receiving your grievance. “
